Shivani Chandra has done her Masters in Molecular Biology and Genetics from University of Maryland , College Park , USA . After completing her degree she joined The Institute of Genomic Research (TIGR), USA . Her research experience includes development of molecular markers, whole genome sequencing, gene cloning, and library construction. She joined BISR in 2005 and since then she is working in the field of Bioinformatics. Currently, she is working on bioinformatics project on Rhizhobium genomics.
